The Open Championship has always been a historic and iconic one, with some of the greatest of all times picking up the trophy. Amongst these is Tiger Woods, who won the Open in 2000 and 2005. The Old Course is very much near and dear to his heart, as he now plays possibly his last tournament there. However, there was one memorable moment from the 1999 Open that was unforgettable- not only for him but for the crowd as well.
Yvonne Rob, a scantily clad streaker was famous for making her way onto the course and giving Woods a big smooch at the 1999 Open Championship in one of golf’s most bizarre moments. Needless to say it was a big distraction as he missed his upcoming putt. Woods was coming up to the putt on 18th hole, when the bikini-clad woman snuck past security and ran over to him.

Rob went on to plant a big kiss on the cheek before going back to the stands. Woods was still new in his career with only 1 Major win, before going on to then win 14 Majors. Woods couldn’t help but smile at the blonde who then disappeared into the crowd. He ended missed the next birdie putt.
Rob was fined £100 for giving Woods a peck on the cheek in front of live television viewers. The lap dancer was said to have been drinking before running onto the course as a dare given by her friends. Woods was also reportedly thanked by Woods before she ran off.
